The Dream House by Betty Roe and Marian Lines will open the concert on 29 May 2013 at the London Song Festival.  The concert marks the centenary of the Association of English Speakers and Singers and the completion of the 10 volume set "A Century of English Song".  The concert is at St Paul's Church, Covent Garden at 7.30 pm.  Tickets are £15 (£10 for concessions) and available from the Festival web site or on the door.  The songs will be performed by our President, Stephen Varcoe (baritone), Sarah Leonard (soprano) and Nigel Foster (piano).  The Festival opens with the Complete Songs of Richard Wagner on 23 May then continues with the Complete Songs of Giuseppe Verdi on 5 June.  This first section of the 2013 festival concludes with a Masterclass with Sarah Walker on 11 June, also at St Paul's Church.

Betty Roe will be performing with Alan Gillett in Betty and Alan Entertain at St Mary's Church Perivale Lane, UB6 8SS on Tuesday 21 May 2013, 7.00 pm for 7.30pm (prompt).  Tickets are £10 (including cheese and wine) and all proceeds will go to Ealing Rotary Charities.  For any members who have not had the pleasure of seeing Betty perform her cabaret material, this is a concert not to be missed.

The Janice Thompson Performance Trust will be performing Jubilee Bells by Betty Roe and Marian Lines as part of their Summer Gala Concert on Sunday 7 July 2013.  The concert will also include music ranging from Benjamin Britten's Friday afternoons to a medley from Les Miserables.

Tickets are still available for Café Cabaret on Sunday, 19 May 2013 at the Freehold Community Centre, 9 Alexandra Road, Muswell Hill, London N10 2EY at 7.00 pm.  Tickets are £10 from Pinkham Way Alliance.  All six performers are members of the Betty Roe Society and the show includes Diva's Lament by Betty Roe and Jaqueline Froom as well as songs by Tom Lehrer, the Gershwins, Cole Porter, Sondheim and William Bolcom.
